The Amy Copeland Memorial Fund
The Amy Copeland Memorial Fund is a non-profit organization set up by Heather Borgstede, a very close childhood friend of Amy's who heard about her loss and immediately opened her heart to help.
The clear focus of the Amy Copeland Memorial Fund is to further the memory of such a loving, giving woman who always thought of others even before herself. The world in which we live is out of touch with the true meanings of what it is to be alive and to love and to celebrate how precious life is. To that end, a course has been set to address the following target objectives:
● Realizing that Amy Copeland spent every day of her life working tirelessly to make others happy even before herself, the intent for the Amy Copeland Memorial Fund is to deconstruct the Fractured Mirror Radio website and turn it into a place where people from all walks of life can visit and discover the virtues that made life so much fun for her. The love she conveyed, the laughter she offered, the happiness she helped instill in others ... that was Amy. She wanted everyone she encountered to be happy, and helping them to achieve that made her happy as well. Fractured Mirror Radio will cease to function as of midnight, Saturday, January 23, 2010. The replacement for it, for the long-term future, is the Amy Copeland Memorial, in permanent placement for Amy's memory.
● Understanding that a mere website memorial can never truly capture the fullness of one's life, the Amy Copeland Memorial will continue in the spirit of tireless effort to evolve into one in which visitors can think of themselves as having known the love she shared with everyone she met.
THE FUTURE OF FRACTURED MIRROR RADIO
It is anticipated that the Amy Copeland Memorial Fund will help the Amy Copeland Memorial become all that it is envisioned it to be. Amy had such lofty dreams ... and now so do I, and when fully realized, I hope they will allow her memory to live forever, working tirelessly to make others happy ...
In the same way she lived each day of her amazing life.
